Estudo normativo da versão Portuguesa do YLS/CMI – Inventário de avaliação do risco de reincidência e de gestão de caso para jovens

Abstract


O presente artigo reporta o processo de adaptação e validação da versão portuguesa do Youth Level of Service/Case Management Inventory (YLS/CMI) numa amostra de 2363 jovens em contacto com a ex-Direção Geral de Reinserção Social, Ministério da Justiça, Portugal. Este inventário avalia risco/necessidades criminógenas e fatores de proteção dos jovens delinquentes para utilização na assessoria técnica aos tribunais e na gestão de casos. Procedeu-se à tradução, retroversão e adaptação linguística do instrumento e à acreditação de profissionais como seus utilizadores. Foram estabelecidos os dados normativos para Portugal e perfis de risco que permitem diferenciar os jovens em função da fase processual, medida aplicada, antecedentes criminais, tipo de crime e diversas variáveis relativas ao seu contexto sociocultural.
