A construção narrativa da identidade em jovens adotados: O caso Beno

Abstract


A adolescência é o momento em que surge a necessidade de construção de uma identidade que permita à pessoa uma relação produtiva com o mundo (Erikson, 1968; Habermas & Bluck, 2000; McAdams, 2001). McAdams refere-se ao processo de construção da identidade como o de desenvolvimento de um sentido de unidade e de propósito diante das demandas do mundo e da sociedade, no qual os jovens organizam sua história de vida a fim de produzir uma narrativa autobiográfica coerente. O presente trabalho investiga, através de um estudo de caso, a elaboração de uma narrativa de vida com a finalidade de buscar ali a construção narrativa da identidade da pessoa adotada. Interessa-nos investigar como aparece a questão da adoção na narrativa de vida e qual seu papel na construção do self narrativo. Foi entrevistado um jovem de 22 anos de idade com a Entrevista de Elicitação de Histórias de Vida (Gonçalves, Henriques, & Vieira, 2010). A narrativa foi submetida a uma análise descritiva de estrutura, processo e conteúdo, baseada nos sistemas de Gonçalves e colaboradores (Gonçalves, Henriques, Alves, & Soares, 2002; Gonçalves, Henriques, & Cardoso, 2006; Gonçalves, Henriques, Alves, & Rocha, 2006; Gonçalves, Henriques, Soares, & Monteiro, 2006); no modelo tridimensional de coerência global de narrativas de vida (Habermas & Diel, 2005; Habermas & de Silveira, 2008; Habermas, Ehlert-Lerche, de Silveira, 2009); e na análise da multiplicidade de imagos, caracteres e vozes do discurso narrativo (Hermans, 2008; Hermans & Kampen, 1993; McAdams, 1993).
